When is the SFB 2026 Annual Meeting?
The SFB 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition will take place March 25 - 28, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Pre-Meeting Workshops begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25 with sessions starting at 1:00 PM.
What do I need to do to attend the Annual Meeting?
To attend the Annual Meeting, all participants must register. If you’re traveling from outside Atlanta, be sure to also book a hotel room and travel arrangements. Local attendees who plan to commute each day will only need to complete the meeting registration.
Do I need a visa to travel to Atlanta, GA?

How do I get to the conference?

What is included in the in-person registration for the SFB Annual Meeting?
The full registration ticket provides access to all plenary and concurrent sessions, networking breaks in the Exhibit Hall, poster sessions with light food and beverages, the Opening Ceremony, and the BASH event, which also includes food and beverages.
Additional tickets are required for Pre-Meeting Workshops, the Student Luncheon, and the
Rena Bizios Luncheon: Building Community in Biomaterials events. You may attend the Student or Rena Bizios Luncheon without a ticket, however a meal will not be provided to you.
Where can I pick up my badge or conference materials?
Please visit the registration desk located in the Centennial Foyer, located on the Ballroom level.
Is there an option for virtual attendance?
The SFB 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition will be held exclusively as an in-person event, and virtual attendance will not be available.
What is the dress code to attend the SFB Meeting?
The recommended dress code is business casual; however, we encourage you to dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable throughout the meeting.
Who should I contact if I have an accessibility need as a presenter, moderator, attendee, or exhibitor?

Will there be WiFi available at the conference?
YES! SFB will have dedicated WiFi available throughout the conference. You will find the login credentials on the SFB mobile app and signage around the Annual Meeting.
Is there a family or nursing room available?
If you need space at the SFB 2026 Annual Meeting to feed an infant, express milk, have quiet prayer time or another personal care need requiring peace and privacy, the Personal Care Lounge is available for SFB attendees only. It will be open on a first-come, first-served basis. You can view the Personal Care Lounge Hours here on our website and posted to our future SFB mobile app.
Will there be any social or networking opportunities?
Yes! Several social mixers will be held off-site, with details announced prior to the conference. You can also find more information in the SFB mobile app. Additional networking opportunities will be available during breaks in the Exhibit Hall, as well as during the Poster Sessions.
How do I navigate the conference once I get there?
The SFB mobile app is the best resource for you to use while onsite at the Annual Meeting. It will have the most up to date program details, announcements, and opportunities to connect with fellow attendees. You will also find floor plans to locate all of the annual meeting room locations. How do I access the SFB mobile app?
The SFB mobile app access and download instructions will be shared with registrants approximately two weeks before the start of the Annual Meeting. Please stay tuned for further details.
