6H: Surface Characterization and Modification & Gasotransmitter
Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Description
This session will explore cutting-edge strategies for surface characterization and modification to improve biomaterial performance in complex physiological environments. Talks will highlight emerging analytical techniques, engineered interfaces, and functional coatings that modulate cellular interactions and improve device integration. This session will also feature innovations in gasotransmitter-releasing biomaterials – such as nitric oxide, designed to enhance the infection resistance and hemocompatibility of devices.
