The Education and Professional Committees Luncheon on Mentoring offers a dynamic space for faculty, trainees, and professionals to explore the value and impact of mentoring in STEM. Through guided discussion and shared experiences, participants will examine key elements of effective mentoring, including communication, trust-building, navigating power dynamics, and fostering inclusive practices. The session will also address mentoring across differences, supporting mentees from diverse backgrounds, and strategies for developing a positive mentoring culture within labs and institutions. Whether you are a mentor, mentee, or both, this luncheon provides practical tools and new perspectives to strengthen mentoring relationships and promote career development at all levels. Tickets, which include a meal, can be purchased during registration. Attendees may also attend the session without a ticket, but a meal will not be provided.
