International attendees planning to participate in the Society for Biomaterials 2027 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Seattle, Washington, USA, may require a visa to enter the United States. We encourage you to begin the application process as early as possible to ensure ample time for approval.

Domestic Travelers	You will no longer be able to use a non-REAL ID-compliant driver's license or state ID to board a domestic flight. If you do not upgrade your license or state ID, you can use a passport or one of these other acceptable forms of identification to fly. More information here.
International Travelers	Most conference attendees will need a (B-1) Business Visitor Visa unless you are citizen from a country who participates in the Visa Waiver Program. Then you will need to apply for ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). Get the most up to date US travel announcements by visiting the Travel Gov Newsroom here The $250 USD visa integrity fee, for non-immigrant visa applicants (except those in the Visa Waiver Program), has been passed through law, but the practical implementation has not been established.
